This is definataely not bad for te price, I bough one of these preodered early last year (I have serial #6) and it worked great for about a year, then one morning was just dead; I now have a rio volt, and can honestly say that the rio is well worth the money, it is much sturdier, the skip protection is great, and the overall sound from the Rio far exceeds that of the Tavarua. But for ~$50 it is a great buy.
