That's not bad, but with an ipod are you locked into itunes for downloads?

Nope. I use WinMX and LimeWire to "purchase" my music, then I simply click n drag them into my playlists in iTunes.

Walk me through this:
  • I'm at my sister's, with my iPod
  • I plug it into her Dell Dimension with a standard Mini "B" cable
  • It shows up as a drive in Windows Explorer
  • I drag her MP3 files onto it
  • I can then play those files after I unplug it
Did I get that right?
