Mp3 playback

When playing Mp3's, the hard drive is read from every few seconds. Can this be avoided, or, is there an Mp3 application that loads the complete Mp3 into RAM and then plays it.

That's how technology works, it reads off the hard drive.. Get a Flash Drive or USB key if you dont' want it to read off your hard drive..

try creating a ramdisk and play them from that
i use RamDiskXP-1.7.0.100

mp3s are read front to back and aside from start of the track disk reads will already be in memory due to read ahead caching performed in the background.
