MP3/MP4 Device Contemplation

I am thinking about getting an MP3/MP4 player for a long plain flight that is coming up. I plan on continuing to use the item after the plain flight in everyday use, so something like an 8inch portable DVD player is too cumbersome (spelling error?).

I have narrowed my list down to a few items.

#3 A PSP

The list above is in no particular order. The PSP had been my top choice, due to perks like video, video games, music, internet access, and possibly Linux. It still is haunting my mind as a top choice. The video player that takes photos and records video, as well as plays video is also a good choice. The only thing is I wish I could get programs on it, sorta like how you can get programs onto a PSP. What made it seem like a good deal is the fact that its 20gb, so I don't have to buy the memory cards that the PSP would require me to buy, and I will be watching a lot of video and listening to a lot of music on this flight.
The Sandisk MP3/MP4 player is really at the bottom of my list. It seems decent because it is more of a tiny mp3 player that would possibly be the easiest for me to continue to use and carry around in my pocket after this.

So, what are your thoughts? What would you do?

The PSP doesn't have much capacity at all, and it's pretty bulky. That 20GB player looks pretty decent. It's cheap and looks like it'll do everything you need it to.
