Please help!

A buddy of mine was helping me get my MP3?s onto my iPod. He accidentally did something with the way my mp3 folder was organized and it changed everything. I used to have one mp3 folder with 8 sub groups ( rap, rock, etc). Now it separated all the artists into different folders, inside that one are the albums, inside that are the mp3s/ The problem is the mp3?s got renamed. Instead of being ?2Pac- How do you want it?. It is just listed as ?how do you want it?. The ID3 tags still read the same. How do I get it to rename the files according to the ID3 tag? I know music match does it but they charge 20 bucks for the software. Anyone knows of any free programs that will help me out.

Why didnt you use iTunes? It automatically syncs with the iPod. And it renames and retags with ease. Be careful though, it will re-organize your collection. Which sounds like what happened to you already.

BTW - It's Free.

I did use itunes and this is what it did to me!

Please how do I fix it using music match. I don't mind having to fix the weird ones but I need something to fix a large majority of them.
