I bought a Muro a year or so ago from the egg. It was a good deal at the time for a 256MB player with recharge batt, fm trans, fm. Anyways my problem is the fm transmit sucks i believe the headphones work as an attenia but my car stereo does not pick it up to well.

So my question is is there any antenia i could buy to make this work better ? It would be really nice to work well.

PS my stereo does not have line in i wish it did though 🙁

is that a no you don't have one? or no you are crazy for thinking that would be good.

Because in my mind, a direct connection is always better(maybe not ALWAYS) but almost always better than a wireless one

Yes, that's true. FM/AM transmitters are known to suck. My dad had one with an iPod mini and had to return it. Hw went with the cassette adaptor. Luckily he got himeslf an new Mini Cooper S with the iPod connector 🙂

Buy an MP3 Car stereo instead. One CD holds nearly 3 times your MP3 portable.

You can get a decent one for 100 bucks.

I disagree. The whole point of the transmitter is that you can play your music collection anywhere without changing. Convenience is key.

If your car has a tape deck, go buy a cassette adapter. Far better than any overpriced FM transmitter.
