I just got a Muvo2 and downloaded a song from Napster for $0.99.

It plays just fine on my computer, but when I transfer the song to
the Muvo2, it says that the song is 'copy protected.' WTF???

How can a pay-per-song file be copy protected that I cannot even
transfer among my peripherals? I don't understand.

Anyway around this? Pls LMK.

Thanks.

It appears that the songs are copy protected then. I don't recall for certain but I think Napster downloaded tracks are only playable on Napster branded or approved players. Look at the Napster site, I am sure it would mention this.

I guess someone didn't read:

"When you purchase tracks on Napster, you can burn tracks to CD and transfer them to a compatible portable music device. Click here for a list of Napster-compatible portable devices--choose from 60 devices..."

I just play the song and record it with Wavestudio that came with my Audigy. Then I save as a wav and compress it to a unprotected mp3. Sounds just as good.
