mp3/digital audio player for home stereo system

hi, i have a high quality stereo system. I want to buy a device that has a large hdd for storing digital audio and that plugs into my stereo system. Probably something with an LCD screen to select songs that i can put in the wall. I know this exists but which are the big names that do this?
