MP3/cd player question....

I'm new at this thing...so this may be a dumb question. Is there a feature on any of these things that will restart at the point in the playlist you last turned it off? Like I burn a cd with 150 songs, when I restart the player it always starts at #1.

I wonder if there's a site that explains all the various features found on the different brands? Thanks for any help.

on my cd player there is a switch on the side taht has some optoins i think it is the hold option. This is not an mp3 player though.
