I have my computer in another room and was wondering what the most viable solution would be to play music on my stereo?????

I mean i have a K6-400 and p3 600 computer here. Should i use these and what audio cards would i need? Only problem is i would need a monitor. Now is there another solution to playing all my mp3's on my reciever

I have an old P500 for this very purpose. All you need is a decent sound card, a cable for it that's a 1/8" plug on one end and two RCA (the red/white stereo plugs) on the other. Plug this into your receiver's AUX inputs. To save needing a monitor, just get a cheap vid card with an S-video out and plug it into your TV. That's about it.

Cable like this one.

Do searches on google for mp3 boxes. Especiallly car mp3 players. There are links on some of those sites to places that sell LCDs for this.
