I was wondering what are the big differences between mozilla (1.0, current latest build to my knowledge) and netscape navigator (6.2.3 also i think is the latest build). Doesn't netscape use mozilla or something like that. If i view a website with the latest build of mozilla, will it look the same as if viewed with netscape?

thanks

I think Netscape is based on a certain milestone of Mozilla. Mozilla keeps evolving with each release while Netscape is done by building off amilestone. Netscape tends to also include undesirable software.

But then again, I realize I'm not informed and haven't tried Netscape in a year+

Netscape 6.2 is branched off Mozilla 0.9.4 so it's ancient and lousy in comparison to Mozilla 1.0.

NS 7.0 is/will be based on Mozilla 1.0.
