Mozilla - Setting Downloading Locations

I have been trying to figure out where or how to change the default download location from Documents & Settings\<username>\temp directory to somewhere else say My Downloads when using Mozilla to download software.


any suggestions?
 
What version of Mozilla are you using? I'm using 1.4 and it defaults to the last place I downloaded something.
 
In the location bar, type "about:config" and scroll down to browser.download.dir. That lets you change the default directory.
