mozilla security question (linux)

I just updated a server to redhat 7.3 and tried to logon to localhost:1080 in mozilla. it says "access to this port has been disabled for security reasons."
I can access it from konqueror fine.

BTW it's for a monitoring program that displays the status of the 3ware raid controller.

anyone know how to let mozilla see this port?

Are you using a proxy by any chance? Try going to network address of the card instead of localhost.
