It's an artist concept and they have no plans of making such a phone.

Very cool if they manage to pull it off with all the listed features, but I have my doubts.

They forgot to mention 45 minute battery life.

Seriously, smart phone manufacturers need to put a freeze on new features, new screens etc. until they sort out this battery issue. But they won't, because morons buy phones based on their feature list and not actual usability.

Pretty rad. I loved the keyboard thing.

However my Blackberry already dies in a day if I do anything intensive on it (it's not like I even watch video or anything), so yeah, batteries before everything else please.

I don't see the need for anything to last more than a day. What are you taking it camping with you? Just plug it in at night.

The point is it is running low by the time I get home and I barely use the damn thing. If I surf scores and make some fantasy moves, then it starts to die. I can only imagine it would be dead in 30 minutes if I tried to watch video or play games or whatever else it is kids do on their phones these days.

I can get a day and a half out of my Droid if I don't use the GPS.
The GPS completely kills the battery though.

Sometimes you need the extra time, or have extraordinary usage, and the battery life isn't sufficient. I have a crappy old Motorola phone, that doesn't do much other than make calls. The battery only lasts 2 days in that, and it isn't enough if I forget to charge it, or use it more than usual. I'd accept 48 hours for a smart phone, but not a dumb phone like mine.

The point of that was to display what an artist thinks would be the best overall package for a phone.

In another decade, who knows... battery tech and hardware revolutions could make that happen, and we'll all be wondering how the hell we ever got by with the things we called "smart phones" in 2010.

i actually think the keyboard thing is a dumb idea that's only going to cause frustration. i do, however, love the projector and the built-in bluetooth headset/mouse/clicker idea.

Ok, I can agree with you on that. I use my phone pretty regularly through out the day (although more data than voice) and have plenty of juice by the end of the day. Sure, if I was talking all day on the phone, that would be a problem...but plugging it into any USB port solves that...and I'm around USB ports all day at work or in the car.
