Mozilla says I need to install a Personal Security Manager to view secure websites.. whats that all about?

I looked on the Mozilla website but it made no sence.


Any advice in no geek speak?

Are you on linux or windoze?

PSM is the part of Mozilla that handles all the security stuff...hence why you need it to view secure sites.

How do I install it?

It should have been installed along with everything else if you downloaded the 9.8 meg full installer. Try to see if you can add it through the add/remove programs in the control panel. If you can't, you'll probably have to reinstall.
