Mozilla / Netscape.

I tried NS6 when it came out of beta and I thought it was a really bad bit of software. As far as I was concerned it just didn't work. I was a bit board this weekend so I decided to download the latest Mozilla build (SeaMonkey - 0.7 I think it was). Now although it's not brilliant (yet?), I was much more impressed with it than I was with NS6. And I thought they were the same thing! Ahh well just FYI really.

Anyone else had the same experiance.

If they just did a version where all the browser windows were intergrated into one browser window (Opera / NetCaptor, etc..) then I think they'd have me as a regular user.

I've heard the same thing, along with how NS6 works excellently w/linux. I'm still running 4.5 and may go with the mozilla upgrade, so I'll tell you then. Thanks for your feedback, that helps me.

They are based on the same code but Netscape six is based on an older version of the Mozilla code with some slight modifications and other useless junk thrown in. Don't even bother with NS6, just go for Mozilla.
