Version 2.0.0.6 of Mozilla Firefox, running in Windows XP home, SP2.

When i try to copy text from Microsoft Word, and paste it into Firefox (for online classes), an error is given.

The link directs me here: Link

I followed the instructions and put in the correct address in the proper spot.

It worked the first time i tried it, but the second time around, using the original file, I still cannot past text into Mozilla.

anyone have a quick fix for this? maybe some security setting adjustment?
anyone had similar problems?

well.. i did follow the instructions. it worked the first time I tried it, but for some reason it didnt stick, and now its giving me the same error.

you have to do it for every website you want to use it on, is not a one time thing

also some programs might overwrite your settings

well it was the same exact website the second time around. Its for an online class. So the site is still locked in the file, i checked that. But i still do not have access. hm.

Are you adding the domains that the .js files are linked from or just the one in the address bar? Also try both Ctrl+V and and Right Click->Paste... sometimes one works but not the other.

even if the domain name or path name changes slightly it'll be considered a new path

so you need to enter each different path

it does not work with wildcards like *.cnn.com

I just added the link in the address bar, I dont think i was adding the domains. How would i go about that?

Would this allow me to make an entire site and all of its sub links and such available?

that will explain why it didn't work properly for you

you need the root of the domain, and any subdomain that you are editing

not the path

Out of curiosity what type of sites / fields are you trying to Paste Into ? ? ?

I use Clipcache and so far can paste into whatever I have tried. I would
like to try it on a site you say you can't paste to and see what it does.
