Hello,

Since it is now school time, I need to look up course contents, comp. accounts online. I have several web pages to visit and it is very time consuming to check each one. Also, sometimes I forget to check some important sites because there are too many of them. Does anybody know of any scripts/plugins I could use for Firefox that would open web pages on different tabs whenever I execute Firefox?
Tab switching is much easier.

Thanks,

what i do to load multiple pages at startup is use the Tools->Options->General->Homepage->UseCurrentPages button to make the few i check regularly my start pages. it's a great time saver.

how do you do that with the keyboard? what's the command? i assume there is something like ALT-TAB to switch tabs, but i don't know it. if you do, share.

thanks.

You can use Ctrl + Tab to scroll through the tabs or Ctrl + # (like Ctrl + 1 for first tab, Ctrl + 2 for second tab etc etc)

Yes, I've done a search. But I am not sure about which ones to get though because ive been getting some bugs with tabs, more so with adobe reader files.

I also dont know which extensions have the feature I am looking for and I really don't want to download and install all of them to find out.

What do you want exactly? When I open mozilla I can create new tabs or open pages in new tabs...

Open all the pages in tabs, then go to whatever prefs page lets you set your home page - there should be an option to use the current tab group (I know Mozilla can do that).

<edit#2> crapito had the solution since yesterday! :Q</edit>
<edit#1> ^^^ CTho just answered it. :) </edit>

You don't need extensions or scripts to do it.

First bookmark all your school websites to a bookmark folder. Then go to
Tools -> Options -> General
In the "Home Page" section choose "Use Bookmark..." and point it to the bookmark folder you just created.

Apparently, besides the OP, I am another poster that doesn't read all the replies. :eek:
