Recently migrated to FireFox full-time (typing this in Quick Reply yay!) and it says I can't log into my GMail because SSL is disabled. However, I go to Internet Options, and SSL 2.0 & 3.0 are both checked. Any ideas?

EDIT: Nevermind, unchecked and rechecked and everything's hunky-dory.

How come on the main Mozilla page its still advertising 9.3?
Also, if I do upgrade will all my extensions be lost? (adblock, mouse gestures, IE view, etc)

Because they probably only advertize releases on the main site.

No clue about extensions, I don't use them.

Adblock has been updated, however, the site where I saw the news had a thread which may help should some of the extensions stop working. Have a look here

It is on the main page in a sense... it's announced in the MozillaZine news on the bottom right. The top news item is "Firefox Pre-preview Release Available..."

Just click on that link and it takes you to the news item and give you the links to the installer of your operating system of choice.

Pages seem to load up faster but I have no idea! Getting real close to the final release 1.0!

I'd like to know that as well. I'd also like to know what RC means. This still isn't the final version of 1.0?

RC = Release Canidate. The road map has 2 RC builds being released and then the final in October I believe.

Cool, but I won't try it until I know my extensions will work with it. Anyone having problems with things like sage, tabbrowser extensions, adblock?

None of my extensions and only one of my themes were compatible with the new release. These included Gmailcompose and a mouse gestures extension that I can't remember the name of. However, there is an updated Noia theme that works, and Easy Gestures 2.11 works as well.

I'm assuming that this release requires an uninstall/reinstall, like previous Firefox updates?

Looks like the Firefox developers took a cue from Microsoft.

The information bar and new download security seem very reminiscent of IE in XP SP2.
