Mozilla Firebird Rocks

Just in case you haven't looked at it or used it.

This browser rocks, it has a built in popup killer that even prevents all the flash adds from running on this site, saving load times and cpu cycles. It also has tabbed paging so that you can have multiple pages on one firebird window, just like regular Mozilla has.

It's the fastest browser I've ever used, and I highly recommend it. I use it not only on my Windows box but on my Unix Server as well.

OMG, FIrbiReD IS TeH R0xX0r mY b0xX)Rz!!!

EDIT: Setting the paint delay down to 10ms makes the forums load almost instantly for me. It's like Firebird on steroids. To change the setting, type about:config in your address bar and go down to nglayout.initialpaint.delay. The default is 250. I also enabled pipelining under the network settings (also in about:config).

How does pipelining work? I read about it in Mozilla's FAQs and I think it said it might have compat. problems?

It's ok. We understand why people freak out when they discover Firebird. I think I have a couple similar threads about Firebird and Mozilla too.

If you're asking for a technical explanation of how pipelining works.. then I don't know. But on my computer, it works fine. I haven't had any problems rendering pages except for the ones that are coded for IE or made using Frontpage/Word.
