After I tell Mozilla how to handle a file type (open it or save it), it never prompts me again about what to do. Is there a way to turn off that feature?
 
In Mozilla 1.3 that dialog box has a checkbox labeled 'Always show this dialog before handling files of this type'.

To change the settings for the types you've already set, go to Edit-->Preferences-->Navigator-->'Helper Applications', select the one you want to edit and then click 'Edit...'
