mozilla cannot display mail attachment -(

helo all
i am using mozilla 1.3.1 for my browser and email(on win2k) ...
a few days ago, i noticed that i cannot view my attachments in mozilla mail...
i did not do any changes (or i dont think i did)

if i view the email source, i can still see that the attachment is in the mail..
however, i just cannot view/download the file...

additionally, when viewing the messages, the subject/to/from is now embedded with the message itself, instead of how it used to be (it was on a separate panel that can be hidden/expanded)... not sure how to explain this, but i hope someone knows what i'm talking about

some of the things i tried:
- open the message in a new window -> nothing is displayed (not even the message)
- clearing the cache
- change the skin to default skin
- uninstall and restart and reinstall

any help would be appreciated. thank you

Why don't you list all you mail settings. Using the same browser on an ME and XP machine... I have never seen this problem.

There might be a possibility that since Mozilla 'dowloads' attachments, your privilages under a user account down not allow for something like that. That is just a far off guess though that is 'possible'.
