This is a list of bugs pulled from Bonsai and Bugzilla. It's a "rough" list because I didn't verify each bug on the list as actually having been fixed in the 1.7.5 development cycle and I may have missed some that were; I just used the smartest Bugzilla and Bonsai queries I could devise. It's not perfect but if you're interested in what got fixed during this cycle, this is probably the best place to start. --Asa

Yup. The engine is supposed to be identical between Mozilla 1.7.5 and Firefox 1.0 (some of the developers wanted it to be "crash compatible" - I'm not sure if they did that, or if they included extra fixes in 1.7.5 that weren't in 1.0).

Firefox looks and feels different - I personally don't like many of the changes, so I stick with Mozilla. The firefox installer is a little smaller - a large part of this is due to the 7zip compression used (which Mozilla does not yet use). People say Firefox feels faster, but I'm skeptical of that claim and haven't seen anyone actually measure pageload times and get results to back that up. It may launch faster, but it doesn't have quicklaunch, which basically cancels out any startup improvements.
