I've been using the 1.3 pre-release for a little while now. Very nice. I don't think that it's crashed yet.

You can install it over the old version. Keeps all your settings and bookmarks that way.

how does mozilla compare to netscape? I ditched internet exploder a while back and switched to netscape...would be willing to switch again if it was worth it...what are some the the features/drawbacks of mozilla?

Netscape is built off Mozilla. Netscape just has less features, been AOLerized, and is always a couple versions behind. I can't think of any reasons to run Netscape over Mozilla. They both look and work they same or atleast then did last time I bothered to download Netscape.
