Moving Win2K from dual to single processor - Help?

I just bought a nice 950mhz Duron and Abit KT7 from the Overclockerz Store. I'm currently running Win2K on an Abit BP6 with dual Celerons. Is there any way I can keep my current install of Win2K, or am I going to have to install everything all over again? I've got a lot of stuff on here now, and everything is working great, so if I could keep my current config, I'd be much happier.
 
You should be just fine swaping out MB. Though it is always better to run froma fresh install.
 
The multiprocessor kernel should run on a single processor (I think it should). Your main concern should be the drivers that are needed for the Sicket A boards. It should still be able to boot, assuming you are not using a third party IDE controller or something like that.
 
I'm sure there is something that lets you go from a single cpu system to a duel cpu system, but I dont think the same thing works. (going from duel to single)
 
the MPS kernel will run with a single processor.

It would be advisable to return to the UPS kernel. All you have to do is go into the "device manager" and "update driver" on the MPS kernel
