Moving Users folder from SSD smart?

Anyone have their take on this?

I was strongly considering it due to how certain games such as Witcher 2 (regarding save files) and programs (WinRAR) using the Temp folder then copying to actual destination.

This is of course to minimize the writes to the SSD but somehow I get the feeling that it's a bad thing to do in terms of stability of system. Of course this is me being a first time owner of a SSD so I'm of course a bit wary and more cautious for better or for worse.

Thanks

Creating a symlink or something shouldn't be much of a problem, but really - minimizing writes? If you're not using one of the indilinx drives with WA >30 that's completely useless.

I mean if you don't want to use your SSD for what it's best at (and temp folder stuff probably falls into that category), you could just leave it in the package - that way you could be sure you wouldn't kill it ;)

PS: You can just search for one of the dozens threads we had about SSD longevity, nothing to worry about if you're using a modern SSD.
