They have a light system that will almost always wave you on, you just pull off into the weight station area and follow the lights that apply to you and since they never wanna stop moving rental trucks they just direct you right on out onto the highway again.
The whole time you're still moving at a pretty good speed so it's really not even much of a waste of time.
