Couple weeks ago I reset permissions to do some troubleshooting. just realized that in doing so it dumped all my apps back from SD card to internal memory.

To save time, any chance there is a method to mass transfer then back to the SD card?

I really don't want to be an ass, and I know I'm not contributing in any way..
But this is why google refuses to adopt SD, because it's just not very reliable.

I've only seen one SD card failure and that was from someone ejecting one while the device was still powered on. If the android system wasn't allowed to be so anti SD card there wouldn't be as much of an issue.

And given the absurd prices in the Google phone for just increasing the built in SD card size, they can go bleep themselves.

I think you have it backwards... the reason this happened isn't the SD card's fault, it's because of the lack of support from Google. If it was built in better, all of this stuff wouldn't have defaulted to being on internal memory.

And to the OP: I can't think of any other way other than individually.

It's an extra step along the way that is a potential problem, no matter how well it is supported.
That's like.. if you are backpacking in the wild, you can take one big rucksack and be done with it.. or you can take a few smaller ones. Why would you do that? That is, I'm sure there are some usecases for some people, but wast majority of people have absolutely no use for SD card, it's just something that can potentially cause problems.

People were saying that SD card support in WP was great, that google should look up to MS, but in fact, in reality, it was/is awful.

Who cares why I'd want to take smaller ones? The point is that I should be able to choose between the options, instead of being forced into one side or the other. Just because YOU can't think of a reason, doesn't mean every phone user on the planet uses theirs exactly like you do. The fact that I can buy a micro SD card with double the capacity of every flagship Android out there is one of the biggest reasons to use an SD card... because otherwise I can't even get more than 128gigs of space.

I think front facing cameras are useless and just add another thing into the mix that can fail... should all phones everywhere eliminate front facing cameras just because I personally don't need one and it's one more thing that can break?
