Probably cant afford it. At least i know i couldnt and had to settle for Central Square (home of breeders and bums 😉 ). A chic i went out with a few times is paying $1700/month for a small studio kittycorner to the common. Fsck that...
 
boston is fun... i highly recommend looking for an apartment with some roomates in the cambridge/somerville area. if you split the rent, you'll live in an awesome place and it'll still be very affordable.
