I hate the finger trackballs, index/middle finger is nowhere near as mobile so I find moving vertically is trickier with those.

Also Until I got a Logitech G5, I used to exclusively use the Trackman Wheel thumb trackball, and I loved that thing, I still have one that is at least 6 years old attached to my laptop next to me (L-Desk). The G5 is better for FPS's but I used to own at CS original with a Trackman so it can do the trick.

I now use the logitech thumb ball and scroll for surfing(about two months), but go back to a regular mouse for games. Must be reflexes, I way over control with the logitech.

Trackballs? Really? I can't seem to fathom the idea of switching from my Razer Diamondback to anything else. To me, the trackball mice would be sub-par. I don't think I could ever do it though. Someone send me a free one to convert me to a trackball man.

Tis the season! So do it or else Santa and Jesus will strike you down.

Maybe the people that frequent the Peripherals forum would have some input.

i've been using the cordless optical trackman model for over 5 years. i'm on my 3rd one. First one wore out (too much gaming) and 2nd one is at the office.
