Moving the boot-loader?

Well, when I was dual booting, I had the idea of putting my boot-loader on a floppy so I wouldn't have to worry about screwing up my regular one. But I've recently formatted my Windows partition so I'd rather not be stuck using the floppy anymore. It's not a problem, since I rarely use the floppy drive anyway, but it's just not necessary anymore.

So...any suggestions on how to do this properly?

If it works, don't touch it. The worst that you can do by leaving it alone would be to wipe your Linux partition and leave Grub on the MBR without the Stage 1.5 loader that it needs. This is easily fixed by booting to the Windows CD and doing a "fixmbr". Simple, one step fix. But when people go "improving" the boot loader configuration, they almost invariably end up with a completely hosed linux install that they don't have the knowledge to fix and that's too complicated and situational to fix from forum advice. Reinstall time.

If it works, leave it alone.
