Moving raid arrays

Does anybody know if the raid chipset in x38/48 boards are the same as the ones in the P35 chipset boards? I want to buy a new x38 based board but have a raid0 array. I've moved arrays before to boards of the same chipset with no problem. If not, I can always just ghost it to a single drive to move it, but I'm hoping it won't come to that.

check the southbridge on your current mobo and the one you are moving to. X38 is a northbridge. And there are several southbridge choices per northbridge. (ICH8, ICH9, ICH9R, etc).
It might even be compatible between different models from the same manufacturer. But if the southbridge is identical then it should be the same. I would recommend backing things up anyways.
