Moving out to the country............$$$ DSL

I am moving from the cities out to the country. I am used to a cable modem or dsl. The phone company out there is now offering dsl at $115 per month for 512 service. I was paying $39 for speeds to 850+. This is great.........not. They also say you have to buy there modem at $225.......put down a $200 deposit and they charge $189 for "installation".

I live out in the country and they don't offer DSL here.

DANG, I thought I had it bad w/$50/month ! Maybe you can find alternative broadband providers.
