Moving in 2 weeks... How early is too early to call to set up services?

I've already contacted verizon about the move.... What about setting up things like cable/power/etc....

Is 2 weeks too early?

When we moved in Feb we started calling the Power/Phone/Etc... about 2 weeks before we moved.

The power was on a few days before we moved in, and the phone was turned on the day of the move. Had to wait a week on the DSL since they set it up wrong.
