Moving from PC to MacBook Pro... Is there a way to keep my iPhone's app data without wiping it?

Hi, I've got an iPhone 3G S which I have tuned right to perfection. All of my apps are organized perfectly on 4 pages and I have years worth of app settings and data compiled on the iPhone (save games, application data, etc).

Now, however, I'll be moving to a MacBook Pro next week. I don't really give a hoot about my playlists or playcounts on my songs, but I would simply like to know if moving from a PC to a Mac on iTunes will wipe out all of application data on my iPhone and make me start from scratch?

Syncing the contacts, music, calendar, etc isn't a big deal to me (that should be easy). I just need my application data.

Or if it does wipe it out, is there a way for me to save my settings beforehand and restore them on a Mac?

Save the iTunes folder and move it across. You can google what you can do, but if you want to save your music as well, you have to change some hex keys I think.
