moving from dual to single screens

i don't understand how people work with dual monitors unless they have 2 separate things on each monitor. having it as one big screen is annoying because of the break in the screen.

If you've got an nVIDIA card, dig around in the nView settings, there should be a key combination to toggle applications back and forth between monitors.

For many apps you can also right click an app on the taskbar and click "Move."

You can then move it back into view using the arrow keys.

Once you press at least one arrow key, you can simply use the mouse to move the window back into place.

Awww... dude, I was going to say the same thing, except after you press the arrow key, you can then use your mouse (don't click) around to move the window. When you are satisfied with where it is, left click.

It should be noted that the window cannot be maximized when using this procedure. Therefore, to get it out of maximized mode, right click on the application on the taskbar and select Restore.
