Hello all. I'm trading in my abit nf7-s and Barton xp2500 for an Abit Ic7 and p4 2.4c. I am very familiar and experienced in ocing the amd side, but I'm a total newb when it comes to Intel ocing. I need some help in setting up the bios for ocing it. I have corsair pc3500 2x512mb sticks. Also is a better cooler than the stock one needed as in a slk900. Thanks for any help.

It'll be the same, except you cannot adjust the multiplier. Also, it will be perfectly fine to use memory ratios without fear of performance degradation.

Thanks for the info, so you saying that instead of using multi's I can use ram ratio's to oc the board but keep ram in spec? Amd does not like being run async.

On the 865/875 boards, there's options for 1:1, 5:4, 3:2. This'll help you achieve high FSB OC's while at the same time helping your RAM out if it's not up to par.
