So I've been trying to organize my Outlook 2003 email folders, and to do so I want to manually move large numbers of emails between folders. However, this has proven impossible, because every time I try, it tries to stuff all the selected emails into one big file.
For example, I highlight 400 messages that I want to move from one folder to another. I go to the edit menu, and choose the "move to folder" command and select the folder I wish to move the emails too. A message pops up saying "creating a new item from the selected items could take some time. Are you sure you want to create a new item from these 400 items?" If I say yes, I just get one big file. If I say no, nothing happens. HELP!!!!
There has to be a way to just move messages without moving them in a block of 10 or less at a time.
