Setting up the Grand Piano

I wonder how they can pack this thing up often like this and not damage it? Seems like it might make sense to use a cheaper grand piano. These guys make it look so easy but it's gotta be heavy as hell.

You're right they had some sound issues. WTF? I've seen two of their concerts last summer. The one at the White River amphitheater sounded very good. The one in Spokane arena sounded terrible. The sound crew fucked it up big time. Where I was sitting there was way too much voice and you could barely hear anything else.

Woah, so that's why they call it a Grand piano. 125k lol, you can buy a small house for that price.

Those Faziolis' can cost up to half a million, depending on model and how custom it is.

That's crazy lol. It better have a button you can push to auto tune it, and it better have another button that every time you press it, a huge problem is solved somewhere in the world. :p

I dunno, but Cheap Trick sounded good, albeit a little low on the volume, and Heart sounded absolutely great.....Journey, yikes, Castronovo starts pounding the drums during sound check, and I knew it was going to be bad. The drums sounded like explosions...and thats how it stayed :(

Wife's a big Journey fan (me, not so much) we had to leave early because the sound was so bad. I was fully prepared to sit through all those sappy Journey songs :p and their new goofy singer.....couldn't do it.

You're right but.... the rest of the band wants to play and Perry isn't coming back, ever. Since I'm a fan of the rest of the band, I've chosen to get over Perry. The new guy isn't bad, probably the best out of the 3 since Perry left. Actually, he does sound different for some of the new songs, but can also carry their legacy sound that they are known for.
