Moving a RAID Card/Array over to a different motherboard.

I'm currently in the process of upgrading my main computer and I would like to know if I would be able to put the old parts into my fileserver and have the RAID array up and running on the new motherboard or if I would have to backup the data on it and rebuild the array once I have swapped the parts over?

It is a Highpoint HPT374 RAID Controller with 3 drives configured in a RAID 5 array. It's currently plugged into a QDI Advance 10T motherboard and would be plugged into an ASUS A7N8X2.0 motherboard if I went ahead with the upgrade.

As long as your only using the array as file storage and not using it for booting your system, moving it over to the new system shouldn't be a problem.
