that pearl harbor movie looks pretty good, and so does that one with ed harris...something '...gate...' can't remember the name of the flick. but i'm pretty sure it's gonna be released sometime in march
did anyone else notice the fact that, though Cuba Gooding Jr. is in the movie, they don't point out the fact that he's in the movie in the trailer like they do with some of the other actors? what was that!?!
how far ahead can you look ? when does this review need to be in ?
planet of the apes is being redone for i think a july release date.
is that trailer in theatres yet ?
crouching tiger is not that good (good not amazing) if you've seen some of the masterpieces from the past. "Wong Fei hong" is far more superior in my opinion.
Well i was born and raised to Asia and i've seen almost all martial art films you can imagine for 20 years now (oops, that revealed my age). Honestly, "Wong's" actions are great, but None of the martial art film before Crouching Tiger can truly bring out the real essence of martial art. Crouching Tiger is a real breakthrough movie where action, elegance, scenery, art are all combined into a master peice.
Pearl Harbor is a Bruckheimer movie... it will be very typical of all his other movies. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a PG-13 rating, and the story is butchered....
No question Pearl Harbor. Micheal Bay is directing. Mesomorph I don't think they point him out because he actually has a very small part in the film. In fact you probably wont see much more then you do in the trailers.
I'm also looking forward to Lords of the Rings. Everything I've read so far has been very positive. I sure hope they do not screw it up.
How about The Mexican? Looks like your standard road movie but I get the feeling that there is more to it then what the trailer is showing.
If you can review an older movie do Bring it On, I can never get enough of Kirsten Dunst. In terms of movies for the future, Pearl Harbor suits my tastes just fine.
Some of the other martial arts films are pretty amazing -- Chinese Ghost Story, Green Snake, Dragon Inn, Zu Warrior, etc. My all time favorite is still Peking Opera Blues.
