movies to rent???

i am having a christmas gathering and thought i could rent some movies or something...
so...are there any good movies i should rent? they dont have to be christmas movies, but nothing porno or horror i guess...
any suggestions?

Well they sound Cheezy, but the recent 'Mummy' films are actually quite good, and the female star Rachel Wheiz (sp?) is gorgeous

The DVD has a ton of extras too that are very interesting. By far the best XMAS movie ever, when in Black and white. I Bought the widescreen B&W DVD and We are going to watch it Friday night!

two very good selections. I must insist on Christmas Vacation. Everytime I see the part where he gets on the sled and goes "Later dudes, let'er rip, hang ten." they show him swinging forward a few times then blooooooooooooooomm. He's gone. I laugh for a good minute everytime I see that. some more good quotes

the fifth element, armageddon, pitch black, jurassic park (the original), gladiator, braveheart, the usual suspects, braveheart, pitch black, bicentennial man, shawshank redemption, the starwars movies, hackers. Those are some good ones that I can think of. Oh and shrek is a great one if you haven't already seen it.
