1. Hannibal came on AMC and that made me remember how good it is. Do people despise it because it's not Jodie Foster? Hannibal did a good job of expanding the twisted romance between Starling and Lector (they run away together in the book). The plot is solid. All around a good movie.

2. Apparently people didn't care about Red Dragon? I still remember no other movie made me grip my seat like that movie's ending did.

3. No movie to date has captured the same suspense & creepiness that Mothman Prophecies did. Slashers don't make a scary movie. This thriller kept me up at night without showing a single drop of blood.

I thought Matrix Reload was pretty good but I can't defend Matrix Revolutions.

The Postman. The premise is kind of absurd, but I have a soft spot for the post-apocalyptic theme.

Waterworld can go straight to hell though.

Oh yeah, Over the Top is over the top Stallone awesomeness.

I too liked Mothman but I also get why its not considered good.

The Cable Guy. Its one of my favorite Jim Carrey roles. Yeah the rest of the acting was pretty weak (Broderick had lost his charm definitely).

I'm sure there's a lot more but can't think of any off the top of my head.

Oh, Sky Captain. Yeah, I can see why it flopped, but there was a lot about it I liked.

The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. Yes, I am very aware of the problems with them, (in fact the entire premise of the series is rather stupid and filled with plot holes you could drive a truck through with a complete disregard of logic) but I still love them.

*Dives under desk* The Michael Bay Transformer movies. All of them. They're big, dumb, and absolutely glorious. Kind of like a big, slobbering Saint Bernard.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. No it's not a massive genre defining film. It is, in my opinion, a solid (but very by the book) sci-fi flick.

I liked all The Matrix's they go together as a trilogy and revolutions was awesome!

Does it have to be movies? I liked Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles and apparently no one else liked it because it only lasted 2 seasons. Yet they have Glee??? WTF people!

I like this topic, but am not remembering titles I'd like to list.

One I'll mention is that sometimes people disagree with how great a movie I think Planet of the Apes was (the original).

Another I think was amazing is Amalie, though I can't get anyone who has even seen it.

The Island - I guess it did poorly mostly because of bad marketing. But it was another epic Michael Bay flick. Speaking of which... I don't mind any of his movies.

I've seen Amalie, I don't know if it was "amazing", but I liked it. It's the perfect movie to watch with a girl.

if we're talking about movies that people on atot dislike that i like, that's about 99% of the movies out there since people here hate everything.

that movie sucked. LOL

People always love T2, perhaps because it was one-of-a-kind, but I don't really see how that was THAT MUCH better than any other of the Terminator movies. I liked them all.

Spiderman 3 (the one with sandman) was far and away the best of the 3. I don't get why it's so widely hated. Transformers: Dark of the Moon was pretty good as well.
