Hi all,

For DVD movies,

Do you like wideScreen versions with black lines on top and bottom or the Pan 'n Scan version because the other way just annoys the heck out of you.

I , for one love the WideScreen versions.

Thoughts.

I'm a widescreen person, as long as the TV is sharp enough. I like to see everything all the time :)

widescreen.. it's the ONLY way to watch movies..

Pan & Scan loses alot of the movie.

To see how much of the film you're actually missing with pan & scan, look at the examples here.

Pan n Scan drives me insane. It's so artificial, especially when there's SUPPOSED TO BE two characters on the screen at one time.

Some people just aren't used to the black at the top and bottom. They find it annoying as heck.

That was my problem when I first saw one in a movie.

I prefer widescreen. There's too much important stuff that's left out in pan n' scan.

If I had a TV that was native to the 2.40:1 aspect ratio, I'd do that. I can't stand the black bars.
