I have a Dell 2405 FPW monitor, but I highly doubt this problem is monitor related. I have a nVidia 6800GT and recently applied the new nVidia driver. I have DirectX 9.0c and I had this problem with VLC media player, Windows Media Player 9, & WMP 10.
Games run fine for me. BF2 and HL2 look gorgeous and my windows apps and desktop look fine. However, I tried playing a DVD and the colors were very basic and it was all fuzzy and I thought the DVD was messed up, but now when I play any movie file, even a short clip on the HD, the colors are messed up and it seems like the contrast is way too high, but the rest of my display is fine, even when these videos play.
Has anyone else had this problem?
