Just saw it.

good, but too predictable. plus some plot holes.

From the beginning when the guy that played Jack from LOST went to investigate the possible assassin's location, i thought to myself he's the mole.

plot holes:
- why werent secret service wearing bullet proof vests?
- why wasnt the assassin wearing a bullet proof vest?
- This mastermind who orchastrated the whole thing, the person who killed dozens of people w/a bomb, cared enuf about a random little girl that he decided to swerve instead of running her over?! WTF!!!

23 mins from 8? vantage points. keeps rewinding and another point of view. Then you see the conclusion. basically mole in secret service, terrorists always one step ahead, secret service dumb idiots dying left and right. president gets kidnapped, everything and everyone meets at one location to decide the ending.

I thought it was a waste of money. Watching the same 15 minute movie with only 2 or 3 minutes of changes in each 6 times was lame. And you're right about the end, I thought the same thing. I would have ran her over. Shit, he had balls enough to kidnap the President, but not run her over????

I liked most of the movie, but the ending ruined it. I mean like you said, here is a mass murderer/terrorist who kills without hesitating, but won't run over a girl in the street.

Plus, everything done by the Dennis Quaid character meant nothing since he did nothing to stop anything, he could have just let everything play out and the president would have been saved since the guy overturned the truck to save a girl.

It was fair. Some of the acting was crappy, and I really disliked that black dude. He just seemed way too... feminine. Plot holes were sort of annoying, and it was predictable.

However, it was an interesting way of story telling.

More spoilers please, I think reading this will be more interesting than watching the movie.

Umm... from a practical standpoint, the terrorists were in the clear in the ambulance. By hitting the kid, they would have brought undue attention to themselves. Bringing undue attention to yourself by mowing down a 9yo in an ambulance when you have the POTUS drugged in the back is bad, m'kay. Clearly their intent was to KIDNAP the POTUS, not KILL him. In that case, you can only be successful if you get away alive.

It's ok. I thought the ever unfolding details as to what happened by going over the same few minutes revealing new things each time worked fairly well. I wouldn't rush out and buy the DVD, but it's worth seeing once.

I finally seen it today. I thought it was a fantastic movie. I just loved the way they showed the story from each person's point of view. I'll add the dvd to my collection.:thumbsup:
