Movie Trivia Question # 1

OK, in the movie "The Professional" with Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, and Gary Oldman: Gary Oldman's character is a corrupt DEA agent. Whenever he is about to get violent, he takes some kind of drug, a small capsule that he puts in the back of his mouth and breaks with his teeth. He gets an immediate intense rush. Is this a real drug, or a made up movie drug? If it's real, what the heck is it?

BTW, no, I do not do drugs, and I do not want this drug, this is just something I've wondered about since I saw the movie. Also, I have the uncut version ("Leon"), and it does not show anything more about it in this version.

I've seen that scene in the movie, and I'd guess its a made up movie drug.
Off hand I cannot think of any pill (even if you grid in up into a powder),
that can be swallowed and have an immediate that second effect.

Poppers have this kind of effect, but you are inhaling fumes not chewing on capsules...

chalk this up to Oldman being a freak...
