There was this movie that I saw as a kid, and can't remember the title for the life of me.

The setting has a lot to do with wizards and heros, and there was this male witch (wizard) that has this really long white beard (5 times as long as he is) that he gets his power from. In the end, the hero would destroy this witch by cutting his beard off. Would like to see it again, but don't know the title. Helf.
