Movie ticketing online - DLP

im trying to order some tickets online for a DLP showing of Ep3 tomorrrow night, I want to watch it in NYC area. but DLP is a must (since im paying the cash already why not go digital!)

anyhow, on fandango.com many theaters in NYC are listed with DLP EP3 shows. but on moviefone or movietickets.com only a select few... WTF

anyone did this online for the DLP shows?

I drove up to Austin yesterday (~75-80 miles) to see Episode 3 in DLP and it was totally worth it. It was without a doubt, the most visually amazing thing I'd ever seen.

I saw daredevil in DLP at the Sony Metreon in SF, awesome way to wtach a movie. I'm going tomorrow night to see Star Wars there too.

i got the nyc show for today at AMC on 42nd street.
DLP as well....went thru the AMC website.

I love the DLP theaters. Unfortunately, when I saw EPII, we had to wait for late-arriving friends, and had to sit in the 3rd row. Sitting that close made the DLP-goodness not-so-good, especially in the desert scenes.

Also, DLP makes things a bit more surreal, because of the sharpness of the picture, so the special effects looked a bit more fake (too clean looking). For the same reason, DLP was not a good idea for watching the all-digital Final Fantasy movie (well, that, along with the plot )
