I saw the movie way back. What happens in this movie from beginning to end. Can anyone explain. Is the thirteenth floor a simpulation. Why doesnt anyone leave the floor
 
It was a simulation within a simulation.

Great plot, poor acting and execution. At least it didn't go into the supernatural like The Matrix did.

Yeah, I have to say that whoever directed that flick did a piss-poor job of what was otherwise a great plotline.
